Welcome To Jubilee Memorial Private ITI
Jubilee Memorial Private ITI | Veli, Fortkochi, Ernakulum was established in the year 1968 by Cochin Social Service Society, the official organ of Diocese of Cochin for the social well-being , with the aim of promoting Skill development of educationally deprived youth of the local area with special reference to socio economically back ward classes.
In 1972 August, the centre got NCVT affiliation to start an ITI by imparting training in three trades including Fitter.
Our Courses
A full time course as per the syllabus of NCVT.The institute provides classes for about 8 hours every day from Monday to Saturday except Govt. declared holidays. The course is divided in to four semesters with end of the semester examinations conducted by NCVT

TATA LEARN&EARN Program inagurated by Sri.Rohit Saroj ,GM,CSR,TATA Motors. TATA workshop blessed by His Excellency Rt. Rev. Dr.Joseph Kariyil. Tata Motors Limited is India’s largest automobile company, a leader in commercial vehicles and among the top in passenger vehicles. It is also the world’s fifth largest truck manufacturer and fourth the largest bus manufacturer.
Our Institute, Jubilee Memorial Private ITI has the rarest of the opportunities to associate with this giant conglomerate through their CSR program.”Learn and Earn Programme”, to train the less fortunate students at our premises. It is a one-year Mechanic course, during which time, the students both boys and girls, undergo an extensive ‘on the job ‘practical sessions along with the theory classes. At the end of the course the students are awarded a certification of successful completion –ASDC (Automotive Skill Development Council) under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India and also a certicate of completion from TATA MOTORS
With these certifications, the students are free to join the same Dealer/TASS they are doing internship with, or they may choose to join any other dealer/or a company/or an Institute of their choice. All the qualified boys and girls are placed after their training.

Fitter is an important trade in the mechanical Engineering field.The trainees are given training in general fitting,inspection,welding,Smithing,Sheet metal and general assembly etc so that they are trained to take any assignment in various mechanical functioning of the modern industry. Thus the trainees passing out of the institute gets enough employment opportunities in various industries in India and abroad.

Our Faculties
Faculties are headed by the Principal who is a Mechanical Engineering graduate with more than 30 years experience in industry and teaching. He is assisted by instructors suitably qualified and experienced.
There are separate experienced staff to run the office and administrative functions.
